Middle School

EHCS Middle School’s goal is to help our students develop the skills needed to be life-long learners and productive citizens. Our students consistently test above grade level, some even at the post high school level. In the middle school we are blessed to have Bible class every day as one of the core classes along with English, Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Our goal is that a student will have studied the entire Bible by the time they finish 8th grade.
In the middle school students take special trips to enhance the classroom experience. Our 5th graders take a day trip to Chattanooga to go to the aquarium. Our 7th and 8th graders go on overnight trips. Our 7th graders spend four days exploring God’s classroom at Land Between the Lakes near Dover, TN. The trip to Washington DC is the highlight of the 8th grade year.
At Ezell-Harding, all classes begin at 7:45 and end at 2:45, pre-K through 12th grades. Students are also welcome to join the school band starting in 5th grade. We are happy that our kids get to attend P.E. class every day.  Extra-curricular activities are also encouraged. Piano is offered on an individual basis. The Fine Arts Academy at EHCS offers additional lessons in art, chorus, and drama.
Our teachers are committed to excellence in education. Through RenWeb, parents and teachers can be in constant contact over grades, schedules, even cafeteria menus. Technology is a great tool that we now incorporate with each classroom through the E-Beam technology and or 1:1 Chromebook initiative.  Paired with best practices in the classroom, our students are experiencing a first class education every day.
Middle school can be trying time for students... and parents. At EHCS do our best to help our children in the transition from childhood to the teenage years. Students at Ezell-Harding Christian School are given opportunities to take foundational skills from pre-kindergarten and grow into independent learners. We hope you will come by for a visit!
